By volunteering for Girls' Science Day you are helping make science more accessible for hundreds of middle school girls!
Morning Volunteers (8am -10am): Run registration booth to check girls in at the start of GSD
Afternoon Volunteers (3 - 4:30pm): Assist with checking girls out at the end of the day
Lunch Volunteers (12 - 1:30pm): Help set up pizza lunch, assist with serving and keeping things under control during lunch, clean up
Experiment Leaders: Design and lead a 45 min science experiment on GSD. The experiment will run twice back-to-back, either in the AM or the PM
Group Leaders (8am - 4pm): Stay with one group of girls all day, lead them from experiment to experiment, to lunch etc.
Day Before Volunteers: ~1 hr in the evening on 11.09.18, the day before GSD. We will assemble goodie bags and folders.

09.18.18 @ 8PM: 1st GSD volunteer meeting
10.03.18 @ 8PM: 2nd GSD volunteer meeting (same information as 1st meeting)
10.05.18: Deadline for T-shirt design submissions
10.18.18: Deadline for experiment proposal submissions
11.01.18: Meeting for experiment leaders
11.09.18 @ 7PM: T-shirt pickup (everyone) & meeting for “day before” volunteers
11.10.18: Girls’ Science Day!!!
